Adam R. Owens: Dothan, Alabama, United States; Located in Dothan, Al. For the past seven years I have focused on covering weddings. A couple of years ago I was asked to be the official photographer for a local politician throughout his race . I thoroughly enjoyed the documentary style of photography. Of course my wedding coverage was a style of documentation as well but totally different. Since taking on that assignment I have been fortunate enough to have been asked to work with several other political campaigns. Covering these sorts of events has allowed me to meet tons of new people and has really opened the door to several other shoots that I normally would not have been thought of as the go to photographer for the assignment. I still shoot weddings from time to time but I am trying to further my career in the political and commercial realm.
